My path and experiences through life as a father has been adventurous, exciting, difficult and inspiring. I bring to light the extraordinary out of the ordinary family life, as a form of spiritual connection of human experiences, which reflect the emotional tied to my marriage and my roll as a father and husband. The paintings are a direct reflection of intimate moments of the family. I use symbols and allegories as a narrative to my images. As a young child, I was always told of the spiritual beings. As a father, the biggest agony is that harm may come to our children therefore my paintings become a form of devotion and prayer for their protection. You will find things such as feather and weapons that represent those powerful Spiritual being called guardians. There will also be other representation of my faith, open to the interpretation of the viewer. A small miracle that I have been a witness to is seeing my children being fed by their mother. I am completely amazed at the maternal connection. Being fully present and capturing those intimate moments become evident in my work.
